“Regardless of age, this beautiful film will make you want to immediately go live your dreams.” - Tig Notaro

Zeph McDonough’s documentary Still Standing premiered at the Lower East Side Film Festival along with a live Q&A moderated by Tig Notaro. It went on to win Best Documentary Short and was acquired by The New Yorker. You can watch the film HERE!

Still Standing follows the lives of two comedians in their 80s, both of whom started stand up after their 80th birthday. What begins as a story about comedy becomes a deeper conversation about aging, mortality, and creative persistence, as we follow our subjects through the many challenges that come their way as they pursue their stand up dream.
